Hello house, first I wanna start by saying I'm a fervent born again Christian and believe in every word from the bible, I'm a living witness to the bibles affirmations...
I was actually reading my bible as always and came across some passages in the bible, we're Christ made some prophecies, that didn't happen , or perhaps if at all it did, that means rapture has taken place, or still yet perhaps I didn't understand that portion very well, I'll really need like minds to examine this with me

Math 16: 27-28 (you can start from chapter 21, to understand better)
27 :For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 :Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

While jesus was talking to his disciples , he was telling them revelations on his return(second coming) to earth on the judgement day, and he categorically told them , that their generation shall not pass away (some of them will not die ) before he comes back... This was resonated in some other verses and chapters...

Mark 9 :1 (you can read from 8:31, to understand better)
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Mark 13:30 (you can read from verse 3 , to understand better)
30:Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31:Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.


So from these passages, Christ stressed that the generation of his disciples, will see his return, however , it is obvious we have long past that generation, so could it be Judgement day has come n gone (and we don't know), or perhaps that prophesy of Christ didn't come to pass

Please I really need explanations,(please endeavour to read these chapters before commenting, it will make you comment more logically).... Thanks in advance...
