A former Federal Commissioner for Information, Chief Edwin Clark, has said he has left the Peoples Democratic Party.

Clark, who was a staunch supporter of former President Goodluck Jonathan, however said he would not joint the governing party, the All Progressives Congress.

The Ijaw leader said this in Abuja on Wednesday when a group, Think Nigeria First Initiative, paid him a courtesy visit at his Abuja residence.

It was however not clear if Clark quit the party because of the defeat suffered by Jonathan during the presidential election.

The PDP states Governors are very irresponsible sorts,

Do they want papa to die "young"? angry

All he knows and lives on is politics, so they should call papa back & take care of their responsibility..

Goodluck willed him to them....
smiley

But on a serious note:

He couldn't even survive 6 months away from the National cake, what a pity & they said they will return in 2019... God forbid!! # NeverAgain

Thank God he has finally retired from active politics. PDP remains the party for the youths and digital thinkers not APC that is full of old and analogue brains that destroyed this country.

Chief Edwin Clark should honourably resigned from politic rather than moving from one party to another. if he is not careful, the PDP he was defending before will be the party to both insult & expose his bad deeds. Moreover, the days of paying political homage with ghana must go bags to him is no more

The downfall of PDP should be a life lesson for any Nigerian who thinks deep. Failure is an orphan, but orphans are not failures.
