Let's assume that Deziani is as bad as they are trying to paint her, does that change the fact that PMB's government has failed woefully and he needs to resign?
if buhari can be able to eradicate corruption only, nigeria will be as good as most european country

some of us are just here shouting that Diezani has been caught. what evidence s does Nigeria or efcc has to prosecute her! it is the UK Government that is on her case. I have not seen the Nigerian Government case against her. they are just picking left overs after the UK has arrested her na so EFCC go dey search her house.

what exactly is your problem with Buhari? GEJ lost the elections about 6 months ago, kindly build a bridge and get over it Sir.

As for Nigeria front, Buhari and APC have failed Nigerians with clueless and insincere leadership! Boko Haram almost brought down Yobe state yesterday....

Reading through the comments above one can easily identify 'the enemies of the state' (the unrepentant wailers), as usual they are crying about how the PMB led administration is diverting attention from the economy by compelling media houses and UK government to report Diezani's case in their warped reasoning.
Some have turned reporters of boko haram's activities in the North East from the comfort of their beds and how the economy is bleeding without them probably participating in the process.
Haba, you guys should learn how to play opposition. You just don't cry for everything that passes by, even the problems you caused, you often cry about it.
Personally i supported PMB candidacy for his anti-corruption stance so anything less than that will disappoint me.
Don't mind the wailing wailers. Lai Mohmd's offer is still open, in case they want to learn how to constructively play opposition.

Really?!
You must be referring to GEJ and PDP...those are the clueless ones.
And Boko Haram brought down Several states and almost ruined Nigeria under them...
We are still trying to recover from their mismanagement and ineffective leadership.
And since buhari took over, had BK too stop bombing? Just accept the fact that Ur buhari is as clueless and incompetence as Jona

Part of why your economy, security and political situation is what it is today is because of Diezani!

Nigeria is truly a lawless nation and our judiciary is not helping either. If a Nigeria court had invited her for questioning, she would have ran to obtain court injunction from another court of competent jurisdiction to restrain them from proceeding with any investigation against her person but imagine how a foreign court has restricted her from traveling outside the shores of UK without a fight back.

Nigerians, like you, don't know what they want. While BH's bombs are limited to the NE, the effect of the allegations raised against this woman, if true, has put more Nigerians in bondage and sent a whole lot more to their graves.

Why are we like this? Do we realise how much corruption costs us? 50 billion dollars can change the fortunes of any country in the world.
Don't border explaining to them, he may not even know the name of Nigeria president - if not for nl.

are you talking about apc or pdp? Let me refresh your memory, 2/3rd of borno state and about 1/3 of yobe was occupied by boko haram when GEJ was there for 5 years, but now nowhere in Nigeria is in their control and they are on the run, we all know because of the greed of Gej and his pregnant service chiefs the war has lingered till now. These guys thinks we are fools just like their gullible followers. Why are they not reporting the Orosanye trial? What happened to the Halliburton and Siemens scandal that implicated past presidents and top APC leaders and a certain Aisha Buhari? What and Fasholagate? The panel in Rivers has just accused Amaechi of stealing #53 billion just between 2014-2015. Trying to bamboozle us with a stale news about a Deziani they can't even ascertain the charges against her can't fly no more. Nigeria under pic is presently in shambles with no actual direction with terrorism earlier curbed now escalating within 4 months of APC misrule. Nigeria can't make any form of progress with his type of targeted propaganda being pursued to hide their failure.

Please explain the terrorism that was earlier curbed !!
Plus Which of the other suspects you mentioned passed through UK ?

Putting an end to that is far better than arresting and sentencing 500 Diezanis.

with all due respect, I think u have gone quite insane. was it not during the tenure of ur demi-god that the same boko haram grew horn, teeth and wings?

its also more disappointing wen a supposed intelligent guy like u WD create threads without due-diligence.

Below was ur thread of last week:

https://www.nairaland.com/2639664/diezianis-arrest-why-buhari-should

TonyeBarcanista:
Let me start this piece by stating that the arrest and ongoing investigation of Mrs Alison Diezani Madueke by the United Kingdom Crime Agency is a welcome development. I shall continue to support public officers to answer to any allegation against them irrespective of political affiliation, religion or ethnic group. This article however is meant to clear the air on who is to take credit before supporters of president Buhari and APC accord the glory to Buhari.

UK Crime Agency Should Take Credit For Alison's Arrest:
The arrest of Allison was done by the UK Crime Agency acting on their own investigation, which only God know when they started. The EFCC never demanded for Alison's arrest, it was 100% UK initiative. In fact, the UK Crime Agency had to confirm that they started investigating Diezani since 2013 when Buhari was still in opposition http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/190970-we-started-investigating-alison-madueke-since-2013-uk-national-crime-agency.html

Why It Is Wrong To Credit Buhari:
The arrest of Madueke is not the first to be done by the UK government. Recall on September 16, 2005 the UK Police arrested then Governor Diepreye Alamesiegha for money laundry www.news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4253362.stm. The glory of that arrests that eventually led to his impeachment and imprisonment went to the UK and not Obasanjo's administration. The glory that went to Obasanjo was that it was his government that prosecuted him after he fled the UK- though he(Alams) was rather given a slap on the wrist. He still wanted in the UK

In May 2010, UAE authorities arrested James Ibori on the request of British Authorities after he had fled Nigeria due to being on the wanted list of the UK (2007) and Nigeria/EFCC (2010). Nevertheless, the credit went to the british authoritÍes and not President Goodluck Jonathan who had earlier ordered EFCC and Onovo-led police to arrest him. www.news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8680569.stm
www.saharareporters.com/2010/05/12/james-ibori-arrested-dubai

Buhari Is Not Sincere With Anti-corruption
Since coming to power Buhari has been making probe rhetoric and has never shown the will. In fact, he has been drinking and eating with alleged corrupt officials like Amaechi, Atiku, Tinubu etc. Obasanjo in his letter once dared Atiku Abubakar to travel to the USA and see if he won't be arrested. Buhari is also yet to take action over the alleged corruption of Fashola as highlighted by Governor Ambode. In fact, the only case that's on the prosecution line is that of Saraki, which we all know was precipitated by political disagreement and not really because Buhari want to fight corruption. Buhari withdrew the EFCC's N2,8billion case against Sylva and even gifted him ticket for Bayelsa governorship election. In fact, Sylva was with Buhari during the Oct 1st celebration. Another is the case of Abubakar Audu, a right-hand man of Buhari since his ANPP days who despite his corruption case was gifted the ticket for Kogi governorship poll.

I make bold to state that the british would have arrested Diezani irrespective of who is in power. It is a shame that our so-called government cannot do things themselves but rely on the UK lead. Unfortunately, the properties and monies that will be seized will be added to the treasury of the Brits and their allies.

Finally, if Buhari want to fight corruption, he should start from home and we all shall support him. There are lots of ex-Govs, Senators and other public officials that has lots of indictment and cases to answer. He can't take the glory of another country! For now, he is yet to prove his hype.

May God Bless Us All

From ur thread above, only u sed the uk government is 100% responsible for the arrest.
But from subsequent Indications, its being revealed that u.k crime agency(NCA) is has been working in tandem with efcc.
Can u still beat ur chest today and say NCA was 100% involved in the arrests and investigations?

Barca, u dontvhave a relative in either efcc or NCA. so how the hell WD you know to what percentage either of both cooperation's were involved in the matter?

BARCANISTA, Please look left and right vigilantly b4 crossing the road.
We WD only miss your hipocracy if u get his by a BUS, all in the name of desperation to create misleading and malicious threads on Nairaland.
