onoja12: 1. Pls educate me on policies abeg 2. If there was never a ban on rice then why this- The National Rice Millers Association of Nigeria, NRMAN, said on Thursday in Abuja that the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, erred in its decision to lift the ban on importation of rice through the land borders. I need serious education and solid responses from you and not phrases and gist. [b]Thanks |

from your write up you sound like one of those who worship coloured skin,so to make yourself important you have to fill that you are a master in english which by the way is not your fathers language.like i said read, there was a ban on bringing in rice by road though the border and that was because rather than land at nigerian sea port, importers were landing at benin republic which has cheaper duty,so to save revenue they put a ban on border import of rice, not a ban on importation of rice, you have always been free to import rice as long as it lands in Nigeria port, and to make it a wewe issue GEJ introduce 30% duty for those with quoter from the government and 70% duty for those without quoter and even in some cases gave his party supporter duty free on there rice import or out right waver # byrron: |
