Outside, all I wanna do is ride
Ever since I lost my homie Christo
Life's turnin' like the lights of a disco
The pains of a G
I act cool to conceal the flames up in me
Last night it was heavy smokin'
Efe came in with steady codeine
Tonight, it's just weed to the death
Bob Marley and Burning Spear from my deck
While I caress the Tek
I think about who'll inherit my cheque
After this tek brings me peace
I'd be seen with Tupac smoking trees
Tramadols don't work no more
I'm fûcked the moment I walk out the Chemist door
I can't wait for this life to be over
I wanna die a thug soldier
But this Tek brings me cover
That's why I love her


Three brothers from the frat left
Then two died a bad death
The last is still runnin' from the police
A stûpid shît a kid did in '03
Just clocked nine and thuggin'
Wanna hold cockèd nines and bustin'
The sister ain't seen the flyin' bullet
8pm is unsafe for a student
It wasn't from me though
A street fight, between niggas for few hos
I was newly initiated
And the fight, I instigated
Tim was too brash with the gat
He lets it fly and hit a sister in the back
I saw her brother weep her eyes out
I regretted ever takin' the wild route
That scene hunted a nigga, man
The misery almost made this nigga mad
This Tek gon' free a brother
I know I love her


Sitting in the back, getting stoned
Weed and SK getting owned
The magazine feeling cold
On life, a nigga losing hold
Better this way than my soul be sold
I'd rather walk into hell bold
Don't teach about heaven's gate
Too many sins, I'm going to hell anyway
You talking to a nigga that barely pray
Fûcked with everybody but still celibate
No joy yet a nigga celebrate
Haunted by the ghost of a girl cellotaped
This is gonna end today
The Tek to the rescue of a brother
