Research Officer

Sesema PR seeks to employ a dynamic and self –motivated Research Officer. The individual will be responsible for adopting an appropriate research methodology and relevant techniques to meet a defined business objective

Job Role

Manage and follow up on all business projects or tasks with clients/prospects and the organization.
Give regular updates on activities/projects
Finalize proposal for briefs within 48hours
Compile and send daily/weekly business intelligence reports to clients
Conduct quarterly research on Nigeria’s business environment with focus on new entrants and policies that might affect the organization or its clients
Gather and analyze data based on client business every quarter
Send daily/weekly reports on activities/projects worked on
Responsible for investigating market activity, assessing future trends in the market and coordinating research project

Requirements:
The individual must be methodical and well organized with a good disposition for work. Some specific skills include:

At least 3 years experience in the field of Research and Development
An analytical mind
Strong knowledge of statistics and computers
Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel etc.
The ability to take responsibility and handle pressure
A high level of confidentiality
Good numerical, analytical and problem – solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The flexibility and willingness to learn
To enjoy working with people
The ability to work accurately, with attention to details
