Greetings, am Gloria. I got Lagos state stream 2.. I actually wanted Enugu and prayed for stream 1 because of my only sisters wedding coming up( november ending). My senior colleagues please clarify these:
1.) Can I be excused from camp for two days?
2.) What's the fate of those of us going for stream 2 do we still have chances of getting good PPA?
3.) Is it true that Lagos state pays only the first 600 CMs?
4.)If qst 3 is yes, what happens to stream 2 CMs?
5.)Do PPAs in Lag have coppers lodge?

Dear Ms Gloria,
1) You can be excused from camp but only for cogent reasons..Moreover lagos camp isn't as strict as other camps. But to guarantee your exit from camp without so much stress, please apply for exit at least one week before your proposed departure and prepare a wonderful sweet selling excuse for wanting exit.

2) As for PPA prepare your mind for the worse..a teaching Job and as far as teaching is concerned in lagos there are more than enough schools to accommodate all the corp members in Nigeria.

3) I cannot categorically answer the third question but to be on the safer side, get to camp early.

5) Only a few PPA's have lodge.

State Govt institutions are all institutions owned and controlled by the govt of the state. Public schools and state ministries are examples.
Private schools, federal ministries, local govt councils, private establishments do are not owned by the state govt

Thanks for the detailed explanation,had been confused for a while but all cleared up. Are there requirements needed to be posted to those lagos state instutions eg course of study,qualification,institution etc or is it generally by luck?

Not necessarily on course of studies. To be on a safe side. If you have any firm that can give you a request letter and willing to absolve you for the service year. Get a letter from them and submit it when you get to camp. They'll post you there automatically.

I can only answer number 3 and yes its true they pay only 600 cms on the means of firstcome first serve the pay is 15k..

lag only pays those posted to govt schools and ministries...and in most cases the number doesnt exceed 600
