94 Camry: cyl..the O/D light is flashing regularly during driving Yes there is a connection. The O/D light flashing means that you have a fault code stored in your transmission ECU, this will usually also set the Check engine light. It could be something as simple as a sensor going bad or as serious as a transmission clutch pack wearing out. You will want to start by having your fault codes read. Hi guys. Got an issue with my 2000 camry. I serviced it with Total quartz9000 and I noticed the car started consuming more fuel than usual. This is my first service so I need you guys opinion as to why it is consuming more fuel. Thanks |

My recurrent problem with my camry 2000 is sluggishness while moving after which it then Jerks forward on prolonged or repeated pressing of the accelerator. It's worse when I put on the a/c. Recently it started stalling anytime I slow down at a Juncture. The mechanic has serviced d injector. I changed d fuel pump not too long ago)(3) month ago. Sincerely it's annoying. Wetin I go do? |

My 99 camry 2.2 is making koi koi or gbo goro gbo noise. Don't actually no. But one mechanic said is shock one said it not. The one that said is not shock said he will repair it and he did after a week plus it start again. What is the price of shock and water pump  |

The engine light and ABS light in my Pencil light 2.2 dashboard are constantly on. My mechanic serviced the vehicle and replaced the engine oil yet the light won't go off. I have also had it scanned and cleared off only for it to resurface before I drove home same day. This has started to drive me naught . please gurus in the house should profer solution |

there is this guy I had a discussion with on which is better between a corolla 2001 and Camry of same year for a guy who just wants movement from point A-B. his points are that corolla parts are more affordable, less fuel consumption, durable, and can survive manhandling by Kazeems. what do u think abt this? note it's just for city movements |

Hello guys. I have just received a 1999 Toyota Camry which is the 2.2 tiny light one to use for the time being. However on getting the car i received some complaints from a friend who drove it down and the major one being a high fuel consumption rate and also slow response from the car on hitting the gas pedal among other things. I used a software scanner on my laptop and ran a scan which gave about 12 DTCs and description which are listed below: P0125- Insufficient coolant temperature for closed loop fuel control P0196- engine oil temperature sensor range/ performance P0234-Turbo/Super charger overboost condition P0299-Turbo/Super charger underboost P0357-Ignition coil "G" primary /secondary circuit P0443-Evaporative emission system purge control valve circuit P0455-Evaporative Emission system leak detected (large leak) P0736-Reverse incorrect ratio P1143-Manufacturer specific code.Please refer to your vehicle's service manual for more information U0001-High speed CAN communication bus U0101-Lost communication with TCM U0106-Lost communication with glow plug control module. Forgive the long write up but please anybody who has any 'real simple' interpretation of what I might need to do or change should please help me. Thanks |

senator2k9: Me too. I gave my pencil light 1999 to my step brother and bought 2008 camry muscle. Yet I still prefer it to my muscle. In short, if u want to use a car and you don't want to bother too much buy pencil, but if u like efisy buy one Big car for occasional outing and pencil for routine movement. |
