Rescuers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have evacuated six dead bodies of the victims of an early morning suicide bombing in Maiduguri, Borno State. PRNigeria reports that the incident occurred during the early morning Subhi Prayer at a mosque behind Magistrate Court, Polo Area in Maiduguri. The explosion was carried out by a suspected lone suicide bomber, whose two accomplices escaped, when some vigilant members of the community accosted them on their suspicious movements. A senior health worker confirmed that the 6 bodies had been deposited in the mortuary, while about 17 other injured victims were being treated at a Specialist and Teaching Hospitals in Maiduguri. I can remember vividly during the pre-jonathan era,lai mohammed of the apc have special speech prepared for cases of bomb blast...now apc is in power,the mofo has been rendered incommunicado. @topic the north need serious sensitization about the sanctity of human lives...the northern elites should free their people from the aegis of ignorance,let the message be preached in all northern mosques,why aint the southerners blowing theirselves up? Common sense, should denote that the security agencies should by now realise the Boko Haram foolishly operate with a weekend schedule. They now launch attacks only on Fridays( islamic praying days)and Saturdays. The FG should by now, on Fridays, have their security personnel surveiling every worship centre.
