That's what computer science is supposed to be being derived from Math and Electrical Engineering. Though it's important to know computation theory, data structures & algorithms because at most big shot companies abroad, that is what you are tested on.

Computer Science <> Programming, though programming is a big portion of it.

Actually, this is what it is. I am now better informed than when I made that previous post.

I think Ahmadu Bello University is a great Computer Science University as well, judging by reading the curriculum. I'm not sure if their professors are good though.

Reading curriculum of institutions is like reading a HEADLINE OF VANGUARD NEWS PAPER, It's will be different story.
