Raalsalghul: Mr man you talk too much. You are still serving and will never know the true reality till you pass out of service. Service has its own spirit that blind you from the reality sometimes. If you know the reality already, let the Op educate others that are naive about it. Just observe and pass to other thread. Don't come here to prove Mr know it all. Life as a corper is different from life in the real world. Even with those that have skills, it's never easy. Intelligent fellow listen and observe to learn more. 4 Likes 1 Share |

dearpreye: Mr Op Leave that man alone. I have quoted him. He is still a serving corper and don't understand the reality of life. People that claim they know it all, knows nothing. Intelligent fellow learn, unlearn and relearn. 2 Likes 1 Share |

mrnuur: You make me laugh bro... you are good in your field. You will know thousands of people that are better than you when you come to the real world. Do you think those unemployed graduates are handicap in their field? Some are genius but no opportunity... You better re-structured your mind set and scrap that notion from your memory. 1 Like |

dearpreye:I beg to disagree with this, who prays for his parents to still be feeding him or buying him or her pants and boxers even after being a graduate and serving? If that's your prayer share this post, if not like it. The thing is being and andult and being independent should start from probably age 18 at that age whether you are and undergraduate or jambite start nuturing and penning down ideas that you think will make u a success don't wait till when u are a graduate. When you start implementing your plans and ideas no matter how small you start then by the time you are a graduate you must have been a master in that field. Imagine going to school all your life and going to nysc orientation only for them to tell you there are no jobs and you should learn SAED either carpenter or hairmaking or baking cake etc. Then why waste 5 years or more in school. If I am learning carpentry or whatever skill in 5 years I would be a professional and a millionaire instead of wasting 5 years reading theory in some institution. What I am saying is find what you are good at immediately you are literate that means when you finish secondary school. Don't wait till when you get a degree till you start seeing the realities of life. Thanks |

nosiebaba: Thanks for your contribution. As for me, even after my kids may have finished their first degree, I won't stop helping them. I'll continue to give them all the necessary support till they're able to stand on their own. That's the point dear. |
Re: Life After The NYSC: The Grim Reality! by Raalsalghul: 6:53pm On Oct 28, 2015 |
butanep:First of all, how do I talk too much? Because I voiced my opinion on the issue, right. Secondly, how am I in your own words "Mr Know it All"? Because I said most corpers should have known what the Op is trying to pass across. Well, this is social media where there is freedom of expression. So, feel free to make your own opinion about me. But I still maintain my stand that the topic is stale: we've heard it over a thousand times in the same manner we've constantly heard of how "Entrepreneurship" is the only way to becoming rich . And we want suggestions on the way out, not threads that always reminds us of how bleak the future is. Does a constant reminder of "How hard life after service is" make life any more better or easier? No, rather it induces fear into us in addition to the already built up apprehension we have before. And mind you, fear is good: it prompts us into action, but not when it is in excess. Call me what you want or tag me with any name you like, dude. But I still insist: those who don't know how hard life after service is are isolated from reality. Peace! 1 Like |

Raalsalghul: Have you ever heard of the word Reevaluation, what you are proving is pointless, just like saying the word of God is stale, at least I have been hearing about the coming of the lord from the moment I understand what sanity is all about, yet the world seems to be growing worst. During my school days it is easy for guys to gather money, skip school fees just to have the latest gadget and ball with cream bae while power generator as the call demand. I was lost just few months after school, this same folks can't even maintain anything bill in their life without depending, I am not trying to spite anyone, but make use of opportunity when it comes you way... No matter how hard you try to down play this post, accept it OP just saved a soul. Take a Bow and Go! 2 Likes 2 Shares |
