Your key to personal success is to establish a definite goal. By goal, we mean a definite objective, a desired result, purpose you intend to accomplish.

Without a definite goal in an endeavour, your actions will be a venture into emptiness. A goalless person is like a "voyager" without destination.

Goals are the check points on your way to success. A goal has three elements.

These are
1. It is defined - what do I intend to do?
2. It is measurable - how would I do it?
3. It is related to time - when would I do it?

Note that you need to be specific on what you want to achieve. Set the time for its attainment.

Also be convinced that you can attain your goal in spite of difficulties. Stick to your plan with undaunted resolution.

Remember to review your activities to assess your progress.

Finally be convinced that no circumstances can rob you of the joy of succeeding.

Be a self starter, be loyal and courteous to everyone. Leave everything a little better than you found it, accept pain and dissapointment as part of life.

One thing about being successful is that, you must learn to say "no" politely and quickly, know when to keep silent and when to speak and everyday, look for some small way to improve the way you do your job.

Avoid negative people, strive for excellence not perfection, never expect life to be fair and pay vivid attention to details and one more important thing, don't watch violent and immoral television shows.

Build your own reputation for its the most valuable asset, never take actions when you are angry, never use profanity, see problems as opportunity for growth and self-mastery.

The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you. Some are born great, some achieve their greatness thrust upon them.

Zeal without knowledge is like a runaway horse. The height by which great men reached and kept were not attained by a sudden flight, but through sleepless nights of determination, tenacity and great perseverance while their companions slept.

Finally, don't procrastinate, do what needs doing when it needs to be done and be enthusiastic about the success of others. Be a good loser and at the same time be a good winner.

Remember when the going becomes tough, it is the tough that goes through.
