Ben Carson Caught In Big Lie About West Point Scholarship Ben Carson has been caught in a lie so huge his campaign can't even spin it, instead having to just admit that yes, it's an outright lie. Ben Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted, in a response to an inquiry from POLITICO, that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated: his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The academy has occupied a central place in Carson’s tale for years. According to a story told in Carson’s book, “Gifted Hands,” the then-17 year old was introduced in 1969 to Gen. William Westmoreland, who had just ended his command of U.S. forces in Vietnam, and the two dined together. That meeting, according to Carson’s telling, was followed by a “full scholarship” to the military academy. West Point, however, has no record of Carson applying, much less being extended admission. “In 1969, those who would have completed the entire process would have received their acceptance letters from the Army Adjutant General,” said Theresa Brinkerhoff, a spokeswoman for the academy. She said West Point has no records that indicate Carson even began the application process. “If he chose to pursue (the application process) then we would have records indicating such,” she said. Here is a retired accomplished doctor who could have lived the rest of his life in peace and honour and as a inspiration to many around the world including nigeria, rather jealousy led him to insult obama and seek to become president saying all sorts of outlandish things, now look at him today, all his lies in his books and profile are being exposed and sooner or later, he will drop out of the presidential race and will leave empty handed. Actually the General is long dead, Ben has held a press conference and debunked the Politico hit piece, there is a desperation to find something to tarnish him ever since he became the Republican frontrunner and started leading in Iowa. All week, CNN sent a team of journalists to try to his childhood home to try to scrutinise his accounts of his early life and they still failed. The liberal media is so desperate to pull down Carson who remains the most well liked of all the candidates and a strong man of faith. Don't believe and conclude with what you read on media outlets. It was a spin. The article written in Politicio was allegedly written by a KKK member. Carson never admitted lying, he never even applied to the academy. A general offered him a place which he refused. They took a statement by his campaign aide out of context. Not so, he never applied to West Point. He said he'd tried to kill a friend named Bob with a knife. Oops! The boy's name wasn't Bob and he wasn't a friend but a relative.
