Please come to my aid anyone. I had been admitted to study BS.c Geology in Unilorin.I was able to pay my acceptance fees,on the deadline date at the dead minutes,courtesy of a fellow nairaland member,GOD used as HIS angel,@Melodies,by username. https://www.nairaland.com/2703993/please-me-out However, I have been given ultimatum of ten days as of now to pay my school fees so as to continue with my registrations and course registrations..Lectures had started from last week. I have been unable to raise anything reasonable.I am aware that the earlier the resumption the better,but what could I have done. I haven't gotten accommodation,so there is no where I could stay. What make me more frustrated is the recent compulsory inclusion of a tablet payment,mandated by the school that we should pay alongside school fees,which amount to sixty three thousand naira(School fees+ Tab).More challenging,is the fact that one cannot pay school fees without paying for the tablet. Where do I get money for that? It is frustrating.All I have been able to gather is a disappointing Seven thousand naira,saved from various Jamb Tutorial Centres I tutor.But,it is nothing compare to the expenses I have before me. I don't want to know what to do presently as I am more confused,I ought to be in school by now but here I am going from a tutorial centre to another,yet not yielding fruitful result.I had kept believing in GOD,because HE was there for me during Acceptance payment, even at the dead minutes.But sincerely I am more confused,as I fear than ever before.Almost every time,I am always thinking about how I could resume,but no way yet.I am same responsible for my family upkeep!From the little I do. If I have an alternative, I won't have come public,but I have no choice. Geology,am aware needs attending classes.We do many courses like I gathered.But lectures had already began. melodies:Sir,I had called his phone number and texted him too,my predicament to him(Gov Fayose). It rang for many times but he did not pick it.I texted him many times.He eventually called,I was about picking it when he cut the phone call.I had redialled the number afterwards but he did not picked it.A few minutes later,he sent me text that I were part of the over ten thousand(10,000) people,seeking for similar help,that he wished he could help but that he has not paid workers salaries,that he wass praying to GOD to put him through the payment of the outstanding salaries,and that he can't help me,in as much as he wished. I was highly down to hear this,though I appreciated him replying me. I had texted him,again, to tell him,to kindly pay for my school fees and accommodation,that I will struggle with other expenses,though I do not have the means.Ihad been persistent in texting him,everyday afterwards,if I could be considered,because,this is my future.I don't just have the means(If I had I wouldn't have been here).But I am yet to hear his response. I am frustrated as I type,I don't know what to do. |

Joygalore:pls kindly help him out of his financial problems..he has bin soliciting for assistance right from d acceptance payment session,while he was helped by a God-sent samaritan who paid him d money for acceptance fees,in as much as I wished to be part of those who will contribute for him buh due to my financial incapability right now..I am. Urging u to contribute ur little quota to save his future,cos education is the bedrock of better living nd livehood.a kobo isn't too small to ease his payment of expenses.it is no scam,it is for real. |

CHRISTALLITE: I guess the deadline has passed. So this is not necessary again. Life is difficult and is not easy for everyone. You should be grateful to God for your life, health and food. As for admission, start now earning and struggling for next year's admission. Buy JAMB form again and start over. Atleast you still have 7k+ Moral of this story: If you fail to plan ahead, you 've already planned to fail. For other students depending on their parents. Start a business now and start saving cos nobody knows tomorrow. For parents the legacy you should leave with your child by age 18 years is to show him how to make money so that he can better appreciate the sacrifices you're making and know the value of money as well as carter for himself. At a time my uncle stopped paying his children's fees. I saw it as wickedness then but today they have a story to tell- a success story as they are graduates and married men! |

Kirinwa:Sir/Ma, I think there is hope of the payment.This is for the merit. The second batch or list is not yet out and they would pay same way like the first batch.Hopefully I will be chanced to pay,but with additional charges. But the problem is I haven't gather the fees yet notwithstanding. Sincerely Sir/Ma,my plan is,if by GOD'S Grace,I am able to scale through this present session,though,I know it wouldn't come easy,but I am more determined,to be the best.With all I have been through,thus far,I believe I will be more serious than I can imagine.I had 78% in my post utme result,which I believe I could have done better.But resuming school,my aim is to win all possible scholarship present at 100 level,which would cater for my 200 level session,and at 200 level,I would have the chance to put in for more scholarships because then I would have had CGPA which I will strive to be 5.0(first class).And as such I will be able to cater for my 300 level and final year. Sir/Ma,if I can finish my 100 level,I promise I will not need begging for help,because I surely believe by GOD'S Grace,I will win scholarships,which will cater for my university days. Sir,in anyway,you can help me,I will surely appreciate it Sir/Mam |
