Our major issues foodwise are pepper and frying meat for stew. My husband hates pepper, I love it. he hates fried meatn I love fried meat in stew. So I cook, take out my portion and add pepper and when I make stew, I fry half the chicken, beef, fish or whatever and just leave the rest boiled. Problem solved, everyone is happy.

Stressful sad But keep putting in your best to make everyone happy. Got kids yet? Which of the pots interest them? Yours? Husband?

where is the restaurant located at?
It's a virtual restaurant. Meals are prepared and delivered strictly on request. Our kitchen is located at Jibowu, Yaba though.

We have one. She goes her dad's Way. She has even learnt to frown like dad and go "Ah ah, this stew is too peppery".

This thread is for women who find it quite difficult to satisfy the stomach needs of their family. Share your experiences.

Why don't you also add cooking classes so interested people can learn too.

God bless your business.

I've been cooking for as long as I remember and have gotten only compliments, so any man in form of a husband that opens his mouth to complain about my food is just 'looking for my trouble' undecided

Mine complains a lot about my cooking even tho am not a bad cook. when I cook and he has friends over they don't stop commenting my food, but my hubby will never make a statement to agree with them instead he will do face like him nor hear anything. if he mistakenly stumbles on me while cooking, he will say things like why re u putting salt now, u are not supposed to, why did u add pepper now u should wait till u bring down the food before adding pepper, you are not stirring the pot of soup well u should stir it always towards the left, and the list goes on and on, it can be very tiring annoying and irritating especially when outsiders appreciate the same meal that was downcasted by my hubby, cos I cook for him and not outsiders.

Na wa for some men, he should start cooking his meal himself!

Any woman whose cooking leads to any sort of complaints "lacks proper home training"! What the hell where you doing in your mothers homes for 18 years? What will you teach your kids? Who will cook for them? Its a disgrace!

And by the way all those claiming and deceiving themselves that "my husband does not complain?" Siddon dia and be fooling yourselves...until when ada, funke, halima, itoro, or domitilla carry buffet threaten your marriages na dat time una eyes go clear!

Sharrap jare!! Its your type that would always find little fault in ya wife's cooking.
