Lollipop has been flowing over the air lately and all infinix note users are porting numerously to the new version 5.1 because of its material design and flash charging.
Some people were able to port to 5.1 while some could not get it. Equally, some could not receive update over the air using OTA updates.

They are still some other issues like
1. OTA update not installing after unrooting
2. Phone charging while spflashtools is connected
3. OTA update stuck at V3 not showing update final update.
High ram useage

Am using infinix 16+2 pls I want to upgrade my phone from kk to lollipop, my phone is rooted and I also have cwm backup on the phone, pls I need steps to upgrade the phone successfully.

root can Neva work with OTA update even if you unroot you will only be allowed to download it
to fix this, reload your ROM by flashing the flash file you used in upgrading to lollipop then redownload OTA updates make sure u backup your files to avoid data loss

it should show flash charging make sure your charger is not faulty

Please could you be more explicit. because I have tried to upgrade my infinix zero 2 severally and each time I download the 85 MB update file, I see no changes.

I also noticed that each time my bt3 is getting low the unlock pattern just freezes and I get the following prompt "please don't shelter the red zone or press the + or - volume key" don't know what this means

If you are on KitKat , you have to flash the firmware with sp flashtool using a PC. You can't upgrade from kk to lollipop with the system update .

I got a Motorola notification that there is update for my moto G. Its fails to upgrade after successfully downloading the update..wat do I do pls? Though I have unlocked the bootloader and rooted it.

it will not work except for cwm the user backup is for KitKat it won't work on lolipop
