Just as the day goes by, the whole world is moving closer to the era when if you are not online you are out of business. Social media marketing plays an important role in making sure your marketing strategy is achieved especially at this time when we are in the social networking era. Today we are going to look at 5 tips to increase your social media marketing success, they are as follows:
Number1: Align your social media message with your brand image
As we know that in social media, we are equally dealing with human beings, therefore they too want to deal with real person and not robot. To make this happen, you must ensure that the tone of your social media messages are aligned with your company’s brand. For instance, if your firm is dealing with casual wears that caters for the university student, you can as well be casual in your manner of approach, make use of relaxed tone on your social media page while as an investment firm you have no option than to be professional with your information and approach. In essence, understanding your audience matters a lot.
Number2: Respond to client as soon as possible
Whenever a customer ask a question and there is no response for a very long time, the customer feels neglected, therefore the faster you reply to their questions the better. The reason for this is that we are in a ‘jet’ world era where everything is done in a jiffy more especially when they have a complaint. There is need for you to be at the top of it in order to build your customer trust and loyalty.
Number3: Don’t fail to take advantage of the Group Feature
Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin are the three outstanding social media network; therefore take advantage of the features therein to easily create prospects, loyal customers, positive feedback etc. Create distinct campaign for each group for it will be a helpful tool for your company.
Number4: Be real – add name and face to your marketing strategy
Like I said earlier on, people on social media want to deal with ‘genuine people’ not faceless entities, that is why you must build your relationship personally that is use your personal name with your valid picture when communicating with them.
Number5: Track more of your customers
Make use of all the available tracking system in the social media networks to track your clients by getting to know what they are interested in for it is an opportunity to be closer to them and it will be beneficial for you in building marketing campaigns that are more targeted.

Social media has gone beyond just being a fun platform. Social media has changed businesses. Some businesses are even hinged entirely on social media platforms and are they still thriving? Oh you bet they are! Why? Because they don't joke with these guidelines:

- Produce diversified content across all your advertising channel. Though your content is diversified, ensure it is on a consistent basis.
- Create a content calendar and stop leaving your content creation to chance. Be ready in advance!

Thanks for the thread here, I have been looking for some info on it too. I also like some offline marketing methods like Lapel Pins from PinSource for example, and some other promo items maybe. Any thoughts on it? I would appreciate any input here, thanks!
