Pleasures that fade like the cooking smoke
Excitement so shallow like the open space
Haunting memory that puffs sorrow
And life that will be forever lost

Is it the pleasure of fornication
Is it the pleasure of ill-wealth
Is it the pleasure of time
Know that all these and all are vanity

Look inward and perturb your mind
The greatest truth is being true to oneself
Don’t be lost in the sea of worthless vanity
Run to calvary for redemption

Earthly pleasure seizes at death
No amount of pleasure can justify your separation from God
