1998 Toyota Sienna ABS light indicator permanently "ON" on the dashboard, and am worry about the potential side effect if any. l bought the car fairly used recently without the ABS in place according to my mechanic. Pls your advice is appreciated. |

stephozien:The ABS kight indicates that your Anti Lock braking system has been disabled because of a fault in the the system and your car is using the conventional braking system .For you to locate the source of the problem you will need to run a scan Mind u ,your ABS module can only be scan by OBD1 scanner cause is a OBD1 system |

Thanks for the advice. However, am based in lbadan and l don't know where to get the scan done. Secondly, is it safe to do without. |
