Pepsi cola, the worldwide beverage giant has finally launched its first official smartphone today in China. The name of the smartphone is Pepsi phone P1 while it will come with another variant called the P1s. If you love the Pepsi drink, lets see if the specifications will entice you.

Out of the box, the Pepsi P1s will come with Android version 5.1 Lollipop, with a Dido 6.0 OS. It’s display will be a 5.5 inches screen with a resolution set at 1080×1920 pixel. And if you get inside the Pepsi P1 phone you will find a Mediatek MT6592 processor and a Mali-450MP4 GPU to take care of graphics. Talking storage, pepsi P1 will sport a 16GB internal memory, which you can expand by means of a MicroSD card, coupled with a 2GB RAM for faster computing. The device will be dual Sim, dual Stand-by. With a hybrid sim systems that allows you chose to use the second sim slot as MicroSD card slot.

But that’s not all, it will have connectivity options of LTE 4G for the P1s. It will also, quite surprising for a mid-range smartphone, come with a Fingerprint scanner. It will sport a 13MP back camera with nice features, and a 5MP front camera for selfies. All these features will be powered by a 3000mAh Li-po battery.

Colors in which Pepsi P1 will be available include blue, gold silver. And it will be manufactured by Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. The Pepsi P1 price starts from about $110, and its limited to 1000 orders for now. So if you want , you better hurry and place your orders at jd.com in China.

It was manufactured by LETV. The pepsi name is just due to branding....due to how popular pepsi is OR like sort of advert on the phone by pepsi. But I don't know who paid who...
