Its a big lie. I am from Nsukka and i was present when the bride price of my cousin was paid. The groom was asked to pay 10000 naira in cash. 2k was returned by her father back our inlaw. So this generalization is quite annoying.

Nsukka women are quiet expensive for real. I was there for almost 21years. The truth is that the OP over estimated the amount. Before you get a wife in Nsukka, you will rush and pay her bride price immediately she is writing WAEC. After her exam more strong hang will show interest. Most young guys find it hard to marry their heart desire in Nsukka because big men no just dey give young guys chance to have girlfriend.
