Mobile Networks and Unsolicited text messages.


I'm pretty sure dis ain't a new topic on NL, but sometimes I just keep wondering why it seems these guys don't respect our privacy.

Getting all these telemarketing messages & calls, from mtn, Airtel and d others makes me jst want to break these Sims but for my contacts.

I can't remember how many numbers I've tried to block with my antivirus app..but each day new ones appear, & just whn u're expecting something useful, these nonsense messages fly in.

what do we do

After I got another one dis morning, I called 180, & then 181 for mtn & I discovered that d option to speak with a customer care rep wasn't available... cos I was meaning to warn dem (if at all it would hv any effect) to remove my numbers (two) from those database of unsolicited messages.
