Chinese Pay-Tv company Startimes has acquired the rights to broadcast the FIFA Club World Cup for the next two editions with this year’s tournament beginning on December 13 in Japan. The company has also secured the rights to broadcast the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup for the next three seasons.
“We are extremely excited about our growing variety of football properties on our platforms and to add the FIFA Club World Cup goes a long way to demonstrate our commitment to give our subscribers the best variety of football action,” StarTimes Vice President Mark Lisboa said.
Most exciting
He added: “This event is one of our most exciting and important sport properties and we look forward to its start in a few days. It is our hope that our customers will enjoy this festival of football champions.”
Italian Cup action will premier on StarTimes from December 2nd with eight matches from the 4th Round of the competition.
The participating clubs in the FIFA Club World Cup are the club champions from the six confederations plus one from the host nation. Africa will be represented by Congolese giants TP Mazembe.

Concacaf Champions League winners, Club America of Mexico, Conmebol Copa Libertadores winners - River Plate of Argentina and Asian champions, Auckland City FC of New Zealand as well as former champions, FC Barcelona of Spain, the UEFA Champions League winners will square it out for the title...

What about epl and liga bbva ....... And they should improve their movie channels that is ST movies 1 and ST movies 1+2 those channels are poo their most recent movie ever aired is ironman 3 imagine!!!
