1. The Author is God- 2Pet 1:20-21 2. God Commanded us to read it- Joshua 1:8, 2Tim 2:15 3. The Bible is God's chosen way to accomplish His devine will - Rom 10:13-17, Acts 2:14, 1Pet 1:23 4. Our enemy, the devil has read it - psalm 91:11-12, Matt 4:5-6 5. The exemplary life of the Apostle - 1Tim 4:6-8,13 6. The Bible alone provides answers to life's multimillion questions (E.g where do I come from? Gen 1:26-27. Why am I here? Rev 20:15. Where am I going? John 14:1-3 7. We will never have the opportunity to apply many its verses after we leave this world. (E.g 1Cor 10:13-no temptation in heaven. Phil 4:19- no lack in heaven) 8. The only ultimate proof of our faith is the Bible 1Cor 1:18-30. |
