JOB TITLE: Production Coordinator

DEPT/UNIT: Content Department - Production Unit

JOB PROFILE: As a Production Coordinator you would work within the content department to ensure the successful execution of production projects to agreed budgets and schedules. The Production Coordinator handles most of the preproduction planning and production logistics in collaboration with the Production Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Your tasks would include:

* Running the Production office. Procuring all necessary office suppliers needed for smooth flow of production and handling all correspondence emanating from the production office. Managing the props, set and costumes stores.
* Handling all production paperwork i.e. call sheets, schedules, production reports, work permits, visas, cast and crew lists, release forms, contracts etc.
* Coordinating cast and crew activities. Handling travel and accommodation needs and overseeing general welfare of production team.
* Keeping track of shot footage, be it film, tape or digital cards and ensuring that it gets from set and into the right hands.
* Finding studio audiences and programme contributors for studio based shoots.
* Securing locations. Coordinating the activity of location scouts and organizing location recce.
* Keeping detailed records.

* A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* The ability to work well on your own and also as part of a team
* The ability to be creative and take the initiative when necessary

* The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

ENTRY RQUIREMENTS: A minimum of OND, HND, B.Sc., B.A. in any discipline.

A film school certification or previous experience on film and TV productions is an added advantage.
