A group of Nigerians have taken to twitter to express their distress over the looming economic crisis in the country by calling to the notice of the President using the designated hashtag #OpenLetterToMrPresident.

The hashtag seems to have originated from this twitter account, @EknowhowNG who started the campaign to appeal to the Government concerning issues some people are facing in the hands of some Customs Officers at the Lagos State border ports.

They released several letters online expressing their disappointment at the way they are been treated, stating that the issues are as a result of the bad economic policies sent out by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which they believe would have a drastic effect on the nation’s revenues if not averted. See letter above.

Other Nigerians decided to latch onto the hashtag to air their views about issues happening in the country.

God is definitely punishing Nigerians for the wrong choice they made..
How can a country of so many educated and enterprenual personals allow a stinking illiterate who has never created a single employment slot all his life to rule them..
This is just the beginning the way am seeing it ..

If this letter eventually gets to the president, he'll take a fortnight trying to understand its contents seeing he's a dullard!...

Another month for implementation that's if he understands it!
