Reminds me of a similar tradition in a northern part of Nigeria where d groom will be flogged brutally, I mean very serious beating 4rm youths alike, If he could endure d pains, he'll go ahead with marriage meaning he'z matured enough 2 withstand any form of pain and if otherwise, he'll have 2 wait till another year |
