Just my personal view of the entire scenario:
As at today, all we are saying is
just a personal opinion, including SANs, nobody can claim authority of their view
yet. Lets bring d entire scenario together and suspend Sentiment for a few
minutes.

1. As at today, no existing electoral law covers d case in Kogi, can't
blame d law for such incredible event dt finally happened.

2. The Law is clear about when d deputy can become d Governor...Only if d Flag bearer of d party
along with his deputy have been declared winner, nd d flag bearer dies....In D's
case, Late Audu was not declared....So knock out dt assumption dt Faleke has
a good case in court...Sorry, dt simple...The only case is if Faleke can insist dt INEC has no right to declare d election Inconclusive!

3. The Law is clear about when the political party can replace her candidate....Only in d event dt D Flag bearer of
the Party dies BEFORE election commences.. In dt regard, our argument for
Bello is flawed by d competent court if d case arises...So u see...

4. For your information, even though we know d candidate matters a lot about how ppu will cast their votes, again, d Law is ahead of us or behind us in D's case: The
entire votes belong to the party...Sorry Sirs and Ma, the Law is handcuffing our
logics....the votes belong to d party.

5. Now, the Law caps it up: a.The flag bearer MUST have passed through ALL d process of party primaries..... b.
supplementary is usually 14days interval, c. d Law does not recognize any NEW
primaries when election is already in process....Not as easy as ur sentiment on
this case.

6. So, as a science student, think about ur graph, and d need to get a
value at a particular point where ur graph details did not cover...What do u do?
U simply Extrapolate d graph....

The point is, if u fault APC decision on picking d next person after Audu during their party primaries, that had d highest votes in
d present circumstances of events, I am sorry for d sentiment, pls look at d
picture entirely, and imagine which option will stand in d court of Law after
now....Just think of it before u engage me pls..I'll be happy to see your little
line I missed out. Lawyers are not always smarter...at least not more than me.

Note that it was Audu/Faleke ticket hence the 2 have become one. It means Faleke is equals to Audu(scientifically and politically speaking). It therefore means that Faleke can step into Audu's shoes at any time of the process, from beginning to the end.
The issue of passing through primaries does not hold in this case because by induction, Faleke has passed through the primaries with Audu hence qualified to become deputy gov and finally governor.

Dear people of Kogi west and central,
As hot as the fire, we use it to cook our food.
As dangerous as the gun, we use it to protect our selves.
As vicious as a venom, we use it for the research of anti-venom.
As destructive as war, we use it to keep the enemies away.
As painful as the scorpion bite, blue scorpion is now used for cancer treatment.
So as archaic as nepotism we must use it to stop our common enemies.
The power shift we so craved for is here without shooting a gun. let our elders come together to resolve the problem that may arise as a result of this tussle so that we may not be returned to that which we have so much long to leave.

Sir, unfortunately, Law does not see it that way..Faleke is not the flag bearer, and can not be substituted except on One Condition: If they had been declared winner b4 d demise of d Gov elect...that is really funny.

We should note that the law too did not capture accurately this "force majeure" condition hence the natural law of justice should be applied. That is, Faleke who is running mate to Audu takes Audu's position, while any other person APC deems fit should join Faleke to complete the team, to enable Faleke conclude the race which he started with Audu, to honour Audu who chose him as his running mate.

The only hope for Faleke to become the Gov is to prove dt INEC erred in not declaring Late Audu as d winner. I still dont see why INEC called it inconclusive.

If indeed, Faleke announced Audu's son as his deputy today, then he just shot himself..Who made him Governor, and on whose authority he will be doing that? He will just discover that he pushed himself into the same anti-party activity he was accusing Bello of, which is unfortunte.!
