Katsina Emirate Council has approved the suspension of the district head of Safana, AlhajiSadaRufa’i, who holds the traditional title of Yariman Katsina. The council’s secretary and Sallaman Katsina, Bello Ifo, said in a statement that the suspension was informed by an ongoing investigation that involved him. In a related development, the emirate has approved the appointment of Malam Abubakar Lawal as the Magaji Wangarawa in Dutsin-Ma district.
