A country with Hausas producing food, minerals and raw materials from her resources while the Yorubas use their natural and technical resources to process and export our and their agricultural products at this period when the value of oil is sinking fast, is a timely marriage made in heaven.
That's what we have been praying and pushing for all these years. A future AreOduwastan or OduArewastan(whichever way you choose to pronounce it) devoid of the evil Biafrans.

Were the cars purchased with sand? Or did you not see the Hausa kids that own them? Some of those shots were also taken in Kano and Kaduna.

Regarding your request, start from the Forbes list, then continue on the list of wealthiest Nigerian military leaders and politicians.

Then when you go into industry and see the likes of Sayyu Dantata, Sani Dankabo (Kabo Air), Umar Mutallab, Umaru Dikko, Atiku Abubakar, Ishiaku Rabiu (IRS Airlines), Alhaji Maideribe, Alhaji Indimi, Aliyu Dasuki, Alhaji Tofa, T.Y Danjuma to mention a few, don't be shocked. You are severely unexposed about Nigeria and Nigerians.

No matter for how long you try to deny the facts, they are sacred. Now give me just 10 ND billionaires to match. I'm waiting.

Sweetguy25:

Still doesn't prove anything. Showing me images of expensive cars in Abuja without details of who owns them is nonsense. Giving me an incorrect list of rich Nigerians proves nothing either.

Give me a list of the twenty or 30 richest northerners you know.

lets get Biafra and watch how we take over Africa.

I believe if you will take over Africa, then your states should have taken over Nigeria. I really don't have a problem with you having biafra however, I always wonder why don't you guys seriously develop your state, such that they would be the envy of all other states, vote only for biafra activists such that you will be well represented in the upper chambers.

If these are done, then you would be able to boldly say you would be better off as a separate country. But as things are presently, you are just being emotional about this issue and if you get what you want by any chance, then your children may curse you for it.

I've just shown you how our agriculture, minerals, intelligentsia and sea ports will make your proposal a highly desirable one, unlike landlocked, eroded and crime ridden Biafra (whichever way you choose to pronounce it).

Any provocative statement from an IPOB apologist should not be taken seriously after all when you stroll round the streets of the major cities of Nigeria the kids that have left schools to hawk anything on the streets and on the high ways aren't Niger Deltans but the same Igbos that are better off, richer and well informed.

If you take the number of women lining up on the streets across major cities of this country to sell their body for sex, it is the same Igbos that will beat any other ethnic group with a wide margin of 8 to 2 . Another typical example is the mass exodus of these people from their own homeland to the same land where poverty and backwardness abounds yet we haven't seen our Niger Delta youths travelling to Lagos to become truckpushers the way Northerners are arriving here in their hundreds willing to do any menial job for peanuts.

They can speculate all they want but the truth is that poverty and illiteracy holds sway in all nooks and crannies of this nation with the biggest three taking the major hit, after all by sheer number of their population one do not need a soothsayer to know who's worse off and who's better off

These provocative statements you see here and there is simply a ploy to make the Niger Deltans get angry and join up in their selfish struggle that didn't even get the blessings of their own very elites.
Let them continue deluding themselves. grin

Jonathan and his cronies like Dasuki fed and allowed BH to thrive which is why it became a monster. Now it's only backbone is ISIS which is a global threat and the reality is that it is now being fought on two fronts; domestically by the NA and globally by the Russians and their allies. Even with all their nonsense, they have been successfully restricted to just 3 out of 19 northern states.

Sorry to shatter your dreams, but we along with the rest of the world will triumph over terror to the dismay of you her supporters.

The funny thing is even with BH, 'ArewaOduastan' with its seaports, agriculture, minerals, industries and intelligentsia is a much more viable venture than landlocked, eroded and crime ridden Biafra (whichever way you choose to pronounce it).

Bla Bla Bla.... Boko Haram has come to stay and it's not going away anytime soon. Quit mentioning Jonathan, he's not a Bokoharam member. He doesn't recruit for them, he doesn't fund them to acquire weapons, his children and kinsmen aren't part of their foot-soldiers. Boko Haram is a Northern militia with the tacit support and backing of the Northern elite.

The problem is that you Northern elites have refused to accept responsibility for the festering Boko Haram. The bitter truth is that Boko Haram will remain as long as Islam remains.

A whole lot of Nigerians do not understand what peace is in relation to corporate business
Peace in relation to biz is not just about the guy that picks pocket on the street of oshodi nor the guy that eke a living from advance free fraud. all these abound everywhere even in New york if not more.
Peace in biz also involves:
the legal environment: to what extent is the rule of law esteem
the host community mindset n behavioural pattern
and other conditions that will ensure the safety on investment either now or in the future.

Eye opener:
why did shell close one of their major office in warri?
why do people watch to their entertainment and applaud a gang of robbers during operation? (S/E Nig)
what behavioural history do these parts of the nation hold in relation to corporate biz?
...........................................................................put yourself into the investors shoes......

so the Igbos are alayes, area boys, agberos and omoniles and opc?

we only go to lagos and you know it

the only place industralized in ogun is the shagamu axis which a spillover of lagos and is still considered lagos industrial zone

https://www.nairaland.com/2322312/ogun-state-nigerias-emerging-industrial

Well. Let me remind that before you were born lagos has and will always surpass the rest. Lagos is a border to to two on more country. It's quite the other way round. Iboes needs SW especially lagos than lagos need them. i have nothing against. I am aganst injustice in nigeria(though its now late)

Really? Worst? I belief aba, ebonyi state is a good example of leadership? Yeye dey smell! yes ebonyi never owed salaries despite its status. Abia had bad leadership who fail to put roads in order in aba but he is now gone. Nevertheless aba is bubbling with bussiness activities or can you tell me one city in the whole of south west aside lagos that is more industralized than aba?

Oh oh. How I hate lies.

The most impoverished? Ibooooooosss and lies.

Fair write up, but a little off, incomplete picture and oversimplification.

Sure, investors look at the Nigerian capital factor, but the number one factor investors think and worry about before siting their investments is safety and security of their investments. The SW remains the safest and the most peaceful, progressive and conducive place to invest in Nigeria. Other factors are availability of skilled and educated manpower and also disposable income.

Lastly, leadership and their ability to seek and drum up investments via favorable terms, trade and investment summits.

Where was this analysis when Lagos hosts trade summits every year including Ehingbeti Economic summit.

Same with Ogun trade summit, Oyo state trade summit and SWITS/SouthWest Investment Trade Summit..

Investments doesn't drop from the tree, you have to work for it..

Investors wont jump into the North, SE/SS to invest anything because of insecurity and instability.

Many questioned Dangote for not investing in the SE, but the man is obviously not regretting his actions if intentional or not after witnessing the destruction of life and property including his own trucks in the SE last week.

Very good conclusion..... nothing to add.

Jeez, as usual finding pro biafrans and the anti biafrans in a thread is like sieving water with a net. All that comes out are claims and counter claims. How one region is oppressing the other, how one region is more developed than the other and how one region once they break away conquer the world.
Instead of us finding ways to better our lots and fight the ruling class to work for us, na to day shout biafra and odua. Bleep biafra, bleep odua and bleep Arewa.

For God's sake, the south east have been ruled by people they voted in, their own "blood", yet they will keep quiet and blame Lagos for their wow instead of demanding service from their governors. Rocha's, Obiano or piano and the likes are there embezzling money and refusing to develop the states and one idiot will sit down and blame Lagos or Abuja.
Even the peeps in Lagos and Abuja are being misrule and yet they keep quiet and turn to Alexander the great online. Bunch of loonies y'all (all pro biafrans, and the rest of the country).

Oga Quotasystem, get a life. Blaming the Yoruba's for whatever misfortune u perceive is a tad immature. Hold leaders from ur region responsible. By now, according to ur insinuation, the south east should be paradise yet it's no worse than Somali. Get working and let us know u mean bizness.

And crime is not restricted to just a region. Crime is crime and is present in all parts of the country, the continent, the world and even in hell so enough with the bullshit.

Jeez
