This topic of police aids doing certain things for the people they are attached too. You really cant blame them, thats why they are called AIDS. they are on special assignment so whteva makes thier host comfortable they are bound to do. and they sometimes find this really satisfying and get extra cheques, allowances and bonuses. No one would hust wanna sit in the station and stick with the basic salary. welcome to nigeria. the government can't do anything about it, till thier working condition is satisfactorily met. no restraining them frome carrying out this duties. most of the time !!! they are not been coarsed to do dis !! it could be borne out of : cultural respect , trying to impress your boss, out of there closeness they see dere oga as there brother or sister... I think its when these police men and women start complaining then anybody can wail on there behalf.... Do u give them money whenever their salary comes late or not paid by the government.... in as much as I don't subscribe to doing chores for there boss who am I to tell dem not to do it...... 1 Like |

This is so sad...and calls for worry. Incidents like these, makes one not to accord the necessary respect for those in uniform who are suppose to enforce law and order in a society. Something should be done concerning these kind of situations...fanning someone your suppose to guard isn't professional @ all. if u offer to help hold ur bosses bag while he/she wants to do something, then I don't see anything wrong. This kind of situation is totally not professional. |
