Press Win then U then R quickly to restart.

At least, I no carry last!
That trick only works on xp. I think the best shortcut for turn off, shut down, and hibernation is to assign power buttons. It can also work by this combination if you are fast winkey+alt f4+alt f4

hooged:

Nice thread guys keep it up, pls how do i use screenshot on my lappy?
You mean you want to take a screenshot?
1. Ctrl + PrtSc (i.e Printscreen) - if you want to take the whole screen
2. Alt + PrtSc - if you want the take a snap shot of a particular/active window

3. Open Paint (I assume you know where to find this) click Edit, then click Paste and VOILA!!! there you have your screen shot.
Remember to save it in jpg format. cheesy

Alternatively you can use a software called GreenShot. It's my favorite and it's very good. Does everything automatically.

Hope this helps.
