11. Garissa University Attack, Kenya.

On 2 April 2015, gunmen stormed the Garissa University College in Garissa, Kenya, killing 148 people, and injuring 79 or more. The militant group and Al-Qaeda offshoot, Al-Shabaab, which the gunmen claimed to be from, took responsibility for the attack. The gunmen took over 700 students hostage, freeing Muslims and killing those who identified as Christians. The siege ended the same day, when all four of the attackers were killed. Five men were later arrested in connection with the attack, and a bounty was placed for the arrest of a suspected organizer. The attack was the deadliest in Kenya since the 1998 United States embassy bombings, and is the second deadliest overall, with more casualties than the 2002 Mombasa attacks, the 2013 Westgate shopping mall attack, the 2014 Nairobi bus bombings, the 2014 Gikomba bombings, the 2014 Mpeketoni attacks and the 2014 Lamu attacks.

" Nasir Abdurahman, who is a second year student at the university, said he came face-to-face with the killers just minutes into the attack. Mr Abdurahman told the Wall Street Journal: 'One gunman ordered us to lay down on the ground, and we did that. 'He asked us are you Muslims and I responded: "Yes. Please don't kill us, we are Muslims". 'He asked if we could recite the Shahada and I recited it loudly. My friends also recited the prayer loudly. He said: "You can go now".' Those who were unable to quote sections from the Koran were shot on the spot."

Studying the teachings of Jesus concerning these times alone will tell you it's only gonna get worse. One doesn't have to be a prophet of doom to see that 2016 won't be any better. We only need to draw close to God to enjoy protection. Hearing what people like Donald Trump say and the rising hate for muslims, the hunger for war will continue. Natural disasters will persist, moral decadence and violence will shoot up. Not good news for those in the world i'd say

12. Sousse attacks.

On 26 June 2015, an Islamist mass shooting attack occurred at the tourist resort at Port El Kantaoui, about 10 kilometres north of the city of Sousse, Tunisia. Thirty-eight people/tourists, thirty of whom were British, were killed when an armed gunman attacked the hotels. It was the deadliest non-state attack in the history of modern Tunisia, with more fatalities than the twenty-two killed in the Bardo National Museum attack three months before.

13. Germanwings Flight 9525(4U9525/GWI18G) was a scheduled international passenger flight from Barcelona–El Prat Airport in Spain to Düsseldorf Airportin Germany. The flight was operated by German wings, a low-cost carrier owned by the German airline Lufthansa. On 24 March 2015, the aircraft, an Airbus A320-211, crashed 100 kilometres (62 mi) north-west of Nicein the French Alps after a constant descent that began one minute after the last routine contact withair traffic control and shortly after it had reached its assigned cruising altitude. All 144 passengers including two babies and 16 German children, and six crew members were killed. It was Germanwings' first fatal crash in the 18-year history of the company. The crash was deliberately caused by the co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, who had previously been treated for suicidal tendencies and been declared "unfit to work" by a doctor. Lubitz kept this information from his employer and reported for duty. During the flight, he locked the pilot out of the aircraft's cockpit before initiating a descent that caused the aircraft to crash into the mountain.

The heat wave started on May 21 and ended on June 19 in India. It recorded temperatures between 45 and 48 Celsius degrees everyday. Black asphalt roads were melting. Major power outages were reported due to massive use of air conditioners. Because of heat strokes, 2,500 people died. Typically, the moonsoon season in India makes the temperatures rise between March and July each year, peaking in April and May.

15. Goil Station Explosion, Ghana.

On June 4, 2015, an explosion and a fire occurred at a petrol station in Ghana's capital city Accra, killing over 250 people. The station, near Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in the city's downtown area, was being used as a shelter from heavy rains and flooding from several days of flooding in the city, and was packed with people, cars and buses, waiting to leave to their various destinations when the explosion occurred. The source of the explosion is unknown though believed to have occurred in the station's fuel tanks. One survivor stated that the power had gone out before the explosion, but after the power was restored, they heard a "pop" and then the fire erupted. About 96 people taking shelter at the station were killed by the fire. Due to the flooding, water had mixed in with the fuel, and when the tanks exploded, the water exacerbated the spread of the fire to nearby buildings, killing additional citizens. The ongoing rainfall and flooding have made rescue efforts difficult.[8][9]So many bodies were taken to the 37 Military Hospital, the largest specialist hospital in Ghana, that the morgue was overwhelmed.
