Today was my second time of riding on his bike. On the first occasion I never knew he had no fingers on his right hands until the point of giving him money. I was surprised and didn't even know what to say that day but today when I sighted him, I quickly stopped him because I wanted to have a talk with him as I understand Hausa. He's from Kankakee and his disability did not stop him from doing his job. He said something that amazed me 'I can't beg'.." See more photos after the cut...

Safety wise...no no for me...But working hard to meet his daily needs..it's a YES for me...How do I judge his actions then

As much as i admire his doggedness to eke out a living the legal way, i must say this is equally dangerous. Looking at his right hand, how will he engage the front brake in the case of an emergency.

Impossibilty is nothing, there is always ability in disability

The fingers are just too short op,not dat he gat nothing

seriously i have started feeling the wind of change o. Disabled peopled now being empowered not to be a liability to the society. There is a disable shoemaker in my neighbourhood here too who cant walk. I knw very soon Nigeria will no longer have beggars on the streets but busy doing one job or the other through empowerment.
