Do you know that some DRIVERS EARN more than BANKERS ?

Do you also know that some TANKER DRIVERS might earn more than some oil COMPANY WORKERS.

PROVE:
Let's divide the average SALARY of the above mentioned (white collar job workers) by 30 days and see the outcome (i.e. Apprx the number of days in a month and see the funny thing about the salary plans). Read below..........

An average level 12 worker in the state government civil service earns about ₦60,000 monthly,
Daily income :
₦60,000÷30 days = ₦2,000 every day. This is LESS THAN the amount realized as profit by some ROAD SIDE FOOD VENDORS (Mama Put) in cities or OKADA MAN on a daily basis

A freshly EMPLOYED GRADUATE BANKER in most NIGERIAN BANKS earns an average of about ₦120,000 monthly.
Daily income :
₦120,000÷30 days = ₦4,000.
This is LESS THAN the amount earned DAILY by some DRIVERS in the cities, even "Keke NAPEP drivers".

FRESH GRADUATE EMPLOYEES in some oil companies earn an average of ₦300,000 monthly.
Daily income
₦300,000 ÷ 30 days = ₦10,000.
This is LESS THAN the daily amount earned by an IRRIGATION FARMER supplying vegetables to Lagos MARKETS, a TIPPER VEHICLE DRIVER supplying sand for three BLOCK INDUSTRIES and a CONSTRUCTION SITE just 3 times a day and DRIVERS of DANGOTE TRUCKS who have bought off the trucks at scrap value and are using them to transport products between villages and the cities for just five business owners.

Daily income
₦19,800÷30days = ₦ 660.
Some PURE WATER HAWKERS earn more than this, some ROADSIDE ROASTED YAM/PLANTAIN VENDORS earn MORE than this daily, same applies to so many other professions some graduates look down upon.

Guess it is now SINKING IN, RIGHT?

Funny enough, when financial assistance is needed within the family, the DRIVERS, HAWKERS and likes look up to those with a WHITE COLLAR JOB.

MORAL LESSON
Let's Wake up and be more productive. Let's mount less pressure on the white collar jobs, No work should be seen as dirty, UNDOABLE or shitty job, Lets create room for more income and strive to diversify our streams of income. The earlier we wake up, the better.

You do not need certificates to do some jobs, you can also do some jobs as part time jobs , let's be initiative. Thought government needs to help but Let's STOP waiting for the Government to feed us, let's feed ourselves and help the Government feed others. That is where we are in this age....
