Did you know you can set standalone proxies for different browsers to enable you browse the net without changing LAN settings. This is a hidden feature most users don't know about and it's really handy.

As we all know Google Chrome and some other browsers don't have their own personal proxy settings built in their UI, they depend on Internet Explorer's LAN settings unlike Moxilla Firefox, setting standalone proxies works best on Google Chrome, UC Browser or Touch Browser, once you set your proxy and port, open your browser and you can connect.

How can I set Standalone proxies?
1. On your Desktop, go to the shortcut of your Preferred browser
2. Right-Click to view properties
3. Rename target by adding --proxy-server="ipaddress:port" So if your ip and port is 127.0.0.1 and 8080, it should be like this --proxy-server="127.0.0.1:8080"

4. Make sure the quotes are included.
5. Apply and Exit.
