Marriage Marriage Marriage...

For me, I wld like to have a wedding with not more than 100 persons as guests.

With that, the reception hall comes into play. How much to rent a Hall? The decoration?

How much food and drinks? The caterer? The rings? The cake? The groom's attire? The bride's wears? The Bride price? etc.

With all these, I think having an average of 600k-950k should be okay.

All I can say conclusively is that I shld at least have in reserve 1.5 of total amount to be spent for the wedding. That is, if I'm to spend #500,000, I shld still have extra #1,500,000 in my wallet because the real hustle starts after the ceremony!

I always ask myself, why should couples always have wedding reception?
where one drunken comedian would be cracking some silly jokes,and pple who wouldn't matter to me in ten years down the line would then eat, drink and laugh hysterically?

@agarawu23 it depends on the population you are trying to impress. with just my pastor and three other friends as witnesses after an hour at the registry we were man and wife after an overall expenditure of less than 10k for form and refreshments.

To start with any Events Planning work First thing Is I asks the bearer what his or her budget is and does he want the package to be. This wil give us a guide line to where to start from. A good wedding planner does bills first. Thus, your pocket determines the planing level.

I did my Traditional Marriage last month in 042. I budgeted 450k and it was sufficient. My wedding will soon hit ground but it going to be between friends and my family. My TM was more than average. Thank God

For me the ceremony is secondary, however in Delta you should budget atleast 500k as long as you want to host marriage party.
As potable as my marriage ceremony was, i spent 483k+. That is minus 39k my bros used to buy some drinks for me. It all depends on what you want but in order to avoid embarrassment, please prepare yourself for it.

For someone making 18 to 50k, 400k will be too much. He will need more than 10 years to save that amount.

The traditional may be medged with the reception.
