You are very wrong. Yorubas have different types of cap styles. Abeti aja ( aluwe's type )is not the only Yoruba cap. you can check online for yourself. This particular style was by the yorubas which might have gone beyond borders like the language. I don't want to derail this thread.

How many countries have you traveled in Africa? Brother i am telling what i see and what i know; not from what i was told from news paper or blog.

You Nigerians like to argue blindly. That is African attire. FULL STOP. Senegalese and Malians even do it better because they use very expensive knitting to design it. They even export it to west.

It does not matter how many countries you have been to. There might be similar Attires just like this in other countries, just like the yoruba language is spoken in some other countries. Point is, for us, this is a simple yoruba attire! Gbam!

My friend go and take several seats, did I argue that they don't wear it in those countries you saw them? That Africans wear suits , does that mean the dress does nt have where it originated from ? What sense is in that stupid question of asking how many African countries have traveled to? Unless you would tell me these Senegalese people were using this cap style pre 1900s when you visited. so calm your nerves.

It is indeed quite encouraging to see this! We need to continually export our culture to the modern world!
