You can't control a violent man, it's madness to suggest it and would be every womans nightmare. Violence is a sickness, such a person should be institutionalized for treatment and constant monitoring.

The bible also says the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and me and the man are joined as one, so WE have an obligation to our bodies. If he has a model way of honoring the temple of God I will happily join him

people are generally motivated by incentives. if they realize that their violent act will result in some sort of negative consequence or punishment for them, they will desist from it. lol

You can't control a violent man, but you can leave him and/or get him punished.
