The Association of All Nigerian Rat has of this morning sue Nigeria Government to court over the recent mass killing of their members in Lagos state. This reach our correspondent when members of the association all gathered in front of our office with placards showing their grievances which reads "Buhari must explain".
Speaking with one of our men, a member from Abuja (rat) who pleaded for anonymity said, the association held a meeting yesterday evening which took them seven hours, there it was unanimously agreed that Nigeria Government is too hostile to have announced that member of the public should terminate life of any rat found in their premises, market places, hotel etc. He explained further that in the first place man has no right to displace them in any of those places, claiming that it was men who came to meet them, before houses were built the likes of them are the bona fide occupant of any terrestrial habitation . When asked if he knew why government took such drastic measure, he attested that Lasar fever which government claim is the cause is not enough evident for any government to have pronounced death sentence on the rat population. He said Lasar fever is a strange thing to the members and that the Rat Association of African Doctors have been carried out researches to find the cause of the endemic. He said the government should have waited enough for them to come out with their findings before informing the Nigeria people to lay deadly attack on rat. He therefore call on the minister of health and all Nigerians doctor to join hands in finding the cause and the cure for the disease. Meanwhile the case is in the court, and hearings will proceed in due cause. He also urged the Nigerians to change their attitudes from killing the rat but instead good neighborliness should be maintained.
