Twas a thing of joy as camp officials and others gathered for the wedding between two IDPs -Goni Abacha and Falmata Saleh which took place at Fufore IDP Camp Yola Adamawa State on Tuesday (yesterday). We wish the latest couple a fruitful and blissful marital life.

I believe she was crying. Not because she was forced but take a look around her, no mother no father. She is likely one of the many turned into orphan by bokoharam. Thats a lot of emotional pain to deal with on a day supposed to be a day of joy for her.
Lets put things in perspective and stop condemning marriage unecessarily. Look as our cities are overfilled with women in their 30s, looking but cant find husband. Thats because someone told they were too young to marry when eligible suitors came seeking. Many of them will cross into 40s and ultimately end up as third or fourth wife.

Please allow these girls to marry once they turn 18 and find a suiting mate they want to be with. Lets have mercy and compassion on young girls following behind our generation.

Blaming Jonathan has become stale. Has there been tangible improvements in their living condition in the last 8 months?

We were made to understand that BH has been defeated, why then are they still in the IDP camp?

Does that girl look 18? Instead of encouraging them to get married, why not encourage them to get educated instead? Education is of more benefit to the society. Tomorrow when that small girl goes down with VVF, the man will jump to another victim.
