First Bank of Nigeria is one of the banks that had the best interest rate on fixed deposit, but now they cannot boast of that. Unlike other banks that have different rate for different amount of money, FBN has just one interest rate for all amount of money.

Please see below the fixed deposit rates for N100,000 to 50Million below.

Please note that rates are subject to period of application.



The minimum amount is N 100,000 and the maximum duration could be determined by the account holder.

Please note that there is a withholding tax (WHT) of 10% on the interest earned on fixed deposit.

The banks are just saying - do not keep your money with us.
Invest it!
Someone distributing/selling mere pure water will net above 5% returns monthly.

Fixed deposits my foot.
