✞ Have You 'Asked Jesus Into Your
Heart' Yet?

Yes? the problem with this
statement is that it is not found
ANYWHERE in the entire Bible! The
wording of this cliché generates a
mental image that can easily lead a child especially to a wrong
impressions.

The idea of Jesus entering a
person’s heart by invitation is
nowhere used in ANY gospel
presentation in the Bible.
.
"Man looks at the outward
appearance, " says Samuel, "but the lord looks at the heart" ( 1 Sam 16:7 ).
.
The language of “asking Jesus into
one’s heart” is part of a soul
winner’s basic vocabulary, at least
in my experience. It is firmly
entrenched, it seems, especially in
'children’s ministries' today.

Have you ever heard a minister say, "Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior!" *NOWHERE* in the entire Bible does it say we may enter into salvation by praying a prayer for salvation.
.
It does say we are saved by
*BELIEVING*, Many people have
taught God’s word *incorrectly*
about how to receive eternal
salvation.
.
Are they still saved? Honestly...I do
not know, but I would want to
have it right and in harmony with
the Bible's instructions to be sure.

How do I accept Jesus as my savior Biblically? Lets let the Bible tell you through our apostle St. Paul:

Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the
*Gospel of Christ* for it is the
power of God *unto salvation* to
every one that believeth-{trust-in]...
.
The Gospel of Christ is faith in the
Death, Burial and Resurrection of
Jesus Christ.

-The Gospel of Your Salvation -
”...I declare unto you *the gospel*
which I preached unto you... by
*which also ye are SAVED*... For I
delivered unto you first of all that
which I also received, how that
*Christ died for our sins*... And that *he was buried*, and that *he rose again* the third day... (1 Cor. 15:1-4).

This is what one *must believe* to be saved, the Gospel of Christ, with nothing added or taken away less you make it null and void.

And of course “to believe” is to
have the conviction that something is true that we {rely-on or trust-in} and NOT just merely an intellectual understanding.
