Also, you have to set goals for your future and work towards attaining those goals. Do you want to study further, remarry or both? Do you have skills that you want to develop yourself on? Do you want to hand over your child(ren) to a caregiver, or you have trustworthy relations or neighbors to assist you in looking after them when you are not around?

Also, you can make findings about charities and scholarships that can be of help to you or your child(ren). There are humanitarian services that support this course, especially for widows.

You should also try to take classes on parenting. This would motivate you and teach you a lot of lessons about child upbringing and how you can cope better as a single mum.

Being a single mother can lead to a lot of depression. Don't allow loneliness affect your habits. Make quality time for your child(ren) daily. If you work as an employee, you can ask your boss to adjust your schedule, if possible. Remain cheerful and always keep a friendly relationship with those around you.

Finally, it is important that you take care of your health. You can only look after your kids, if you have sound health. Take care of your health and that of your child(ren).
