I am looking for direct download link to skype. The one I downloaded online was not working perfectly. I cant Sign In/ Log In at All

What version did you download. The latest version 7.18.85.109 works fine for me. you can download it directly from skype webpage.

I downloaded it from the skype site directly twice. But it's not working. See the attached screen shot of how the thing looks like when trying to sign in. I can sign in successfully on their web. But on the app, there is issues!

Give it some time to sign. It will eventually go through. However, you can download and install Skype for desktop.
