Only a fool can drink away his life by making it a habit to drink everyday. A wise person drinks occasionally or wen it's necessary and not based on OPs calculations. And that ll never makes him not to attain greater height he's destined to .

We should not look at the pocket alone but the health. However calculating life according to the OP's observation is not realistic. Denying oneself a pleasure or two from time to time doesn't define a good life.

Fallacy! Not realistic. How do you expect a bottle of beer to maintain the same price for 30 years. How much was common beer 30 years ago and how much will it be the next 30 years?. and besides that, the money of beer cannot be used to build house and vice versa.
