Lagos is nothing compared to what Anambra has to offer.
lol. Such a clown! I take it as a joke though. The way you guys hype this Awka, one would think it's Beverly Hills of some sort, alas, it's just a below average town getting a facelift! Before you go rapping, I stay in Awka...there's just nothing here.

I don't think shopping malls are a thing to celebrate. What we should be celebrating are production plants and factories. We have countless number of malls everywhere yet we import toothpicks. Those malls would be stockpiled with imported products yet we beat our chests about them.

Tomorrow the naira falls and we blame the government, yet we just can't moderate our appetite for foreign products...

Smh.

I have being going through so many posts on nairaland, but have to say that this post deserve an award.

Roban is shoprites competitor in the east

I was wondering why can't we in nigeria have our own brand of shopping mail, online store etc, instead of allow outsiders dominant and we buy from them(all the profit they make is sent back to their country and remember some is tax free.

We would travel out to buy from them, we would import, they will even come to our home and still be heading over us and sell to us.

Nigerian wake up, all the top richest men/women in Nigeria can't see this type of project to invest in, then add our local manufacturers products to promote more
