Its possible if u take ur time to think abt the box.

8 to 10 million naira can get you a good distributorship license for specific products or a range of products. Provisons (too many products to mention, you should get the idea i.e Bathing/Washing Soaps, Sugar, Tissue, etc etc), basically, products which are in constant daily use (I have a preference for those which do not have tight expiry dates).

Set aside time and visit Unilever, Pz, Nestle, Coca-cola etc marketing departments and source concrete information from them.
That amount of money is what you can use to set up an easily sustainable thriving business for a long, long time if used right. (I think), the key is not to invest all of it at once. Planning to start with 8? Set aside 2 million as emergency funds to use and kill-off any challenges which might emerge in those first few months of starting up. If the challenges don't come up, you use the money to increase capacity, add another line of products or simply divest.

I'm just suggesting one idea ne o. Personally 40% to where you are now so have spent the past few months doing in-depth research. I tend to favour small, fast-moving products to those heavy ones which might require excessive marketing and are often seasonal.

If you have the 'liver' to go into production, also look towards production of fast-moving products like Polyethylene and the likes.

Forget any business that will require you to spend 50% of your capital on 'packaging.' The "ground" is actually where the most money is. (No be all those 9ja 'I have arrived' kinda businesses which constantly groan under the heavy weight of running costs).

Here's a summary of what Intend to do.

Open a foreign account and stash a larger % in dollars, open a ghanian account to receive dollars

Invest in low risk FX funds

Import goods. Mostly office consumables

Invest in agriculture. Warehousing and export finance

Run an Uber taxi.

I won't elaborate. I believe this is enough.

I think dump truck/haulage business would be cool for you. Your capital would surely get up to 2 tokunbo trucks and you probably can make more than the amounts stated above in a month. Though, the business needs time devotion or you get a manager (someone who has vast knowledge about this particular business). Try make some research on your own and you won't regret "I believe".

I will like to suggest oil business. I work with a first generation bank inside warri refinery. I know all the oil transactions that go around. You can invest in AGO and DPK with 2.3M and get monthly return of over 200k as profit. If you interested give me a call and you can come and verify things for yourself.
