Personally, I think Makoko is a health hazard. First, how can the area be gentrified? How can it be done right? Where will the inhabitants be moved to?
When Fashola asked them to move to Agbowa, why didn't he build a community for them? I mean they are not just going to move on sand now are they? Did he build a school for their children? Was there any plan for a decent livelihood for them (one in which they are accustomed)?
