As news continue to filter in regarding the character of the Ibadan based lawyer, Yewande Oyediran , who slit her husband’s throat, Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku and which resulted in his death, new facts have emerged regarding the professional character of the woman who is presently being kept in police custody for the heinous crime. According to a source from the Ministry of Justice where the accused earns her living, the woman is said to be a tough person who shows no compassion whatsoever for the offenders hence she is nick named “Magareth Thatcher”. The source who confided in Mega Icon Magazine added that due to her tough stances on cases that were assigned to her she is always given cases in which the accused want to be prosecuted by every mean. In her words, “she is a known figure in the ministry due to her tough mien and she always give every case is handling the hundred percent seriousness it deserves, hence, the accused persons never pray to handle cases against her”. Another source who introduced a spiritual angle to the murder the lawyer committed revealed that the stabbing is not ‘ordinary’ saying that the woman might have been ‘remotely controlled’ into committing the dastardly act by people who detest her tough stands on cases she has handled. “From the way I see it, that act (murder) has spiritual undertone. The woman is a hard case who is feared in the court. She is not approachable especially when it concerns lawsuits she is handling. I have heard people saying that because she is a lawyer does not mean that she should throw morals to the wind. Thus, it might have been the handiwork of people who felt she had behaved rudely to them in the course of performing her professional duties. The crime is a perfect example of what our fathers refer to as spiritual manipulation (Eedi)”, she concluded. Before this hit the news here on nairaland.com, I will go with the second reason as I know people who are close to the couple. The woman was warned severally to back off from a case but due to her tough and strict stance, she was dealt with spiritually so as not to have time for the case she is currently prosecuting, please deal with people cautiously and be prayerful.

If it's true that this woman was spiritually manipulated to commit the act then it's time we Africans believed that what we see as spiritual is actually science. There are mind control drugs in highly developed societies today. After all Oswald didn't remember a thing after he killed J.F Kennedy.

The African 'juju' is an unfortunate situation whereby we Africans know nature but instead of using it to better our lives we use it for evil.

If the woman was really 'remote controlled', I pray she is acquainted.
